A voluminous sleeveless silk crepon blouse. The caramel colour of the silk contrasts deliberately with the cascade of lace that creates a jabot effect at the front of the shirt/blouse.

The top layer of lace is an embroidered tulle flounce with a scalloped edge dating to the Victorian/Edwardian era. The lace underneath dates to around 1900-1940. The shirt opens fully at the front and is closed by 6 concealed press studs.
