Garment created as a linear tunic, yet rich in important elements.
A double layer of raw cut stretch cotton tulle provides the base for a silk tulle with beautiful 19th century French Renaissance lace with some needle-worked parts.
Shawl-like, the fabric is fixed along its upper edge only and left free to fluctuate laterally.
On the shoulders, a creamy-rose coloured vintage lace called "Blonda" ( a term that derives from the French "Blonde", from the color of the natural silk used) acts as a support for hand-worked golden leaves and flowers dating to around 1900.
The front and back necklines are finished with stretch cotton tulle French piping with a deliberately visible seam.
