Top made of silk crepe with an American neckline and a French piping neck-tie in the same material. The sides of the garment are adorned with black vintage trimming and beads in the same
colour, while an applique of embroidery on Victorian beaded tulle is fixed at the centre of the neckline from where it is left to hang as if it were a pendant.
Whilst the back remains bare, a wide silk ruffle decorates the entire bottom edge of the garment.
